Council Meeting Highlights

August 9, 2004

* With the resignation of Pat Arter as Treasurer (thanks, Pat for your years of service as treasurer to Zion), Council held elections at their meeting this past Monday. The following are the results, to be in effect through the end of this year.

            President - John Shutika

            Vice-President - Richard Zerbe

            Treasurer - Karl Aikey

            Doug Fry continues as Secretary

The above came about because Karl felt a calling to fill in as Treasurer and, being unable to hold two positions, he had to stop down as President. (thanks, Karl for the great job you did in that position). This caused the domino effect of John Shutika stepping down as Vice-President, which then resulted in the elections as listed above.

* In other business, Council reviewed information from the Property Committee regarding bids for air conditioning.
