Council Meeting Highlights

May 2005

* Jacki Brock was voted new council member.

* Debbie Loope was voted new secretary.

* List of people who are authorized to sign checks are the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Memorial Committee Treasurer, and Cemetery Committee Treasurer.

* Worship service will be changed to 9:15 a.m. for the months of July and August on a trial basis.

* Funeral Policy was approved.

* Contract and job responsibilities were approved for the Cemetery Caretaker.

* Nancy Hileman is coordinating the Keeping Kids Safe Program. She will be asking members to complete an application in the near future, starting with Vacation Bible School volunteers.

* A preliminary report from the Audit Committee was received and reviewed.

* The Capital Campaign Task Force presented a campaign to receive donations for roof repairs. Donations of $5 will buy one squares of the roof. When squares are purchased they will be filled in to show progress and reveal a special message.
