Council Meeting Highlights

The Fellowship Committee presented to council the new member's welcome bag. The welcome bag contains a card to welcome the new member to our church family. In addition, the bag includes the church directory, the annual report, the church constitution, the new members' certificate and a copy of all the church events for this year. Additionally, pictures are taken of the new members and can be seen on the kiosk in the rear of the Sanctuary so everyone can get to know them.

The Fellowship Committee plans to embark on an effort to obtain a short biography of the new members and also include some current members from time to time. It is hoped that this will promote everyone's opportunity to get to know each other a little more.

Council regretfully accepted the resignation of Pat Arter as the church Treasurer. He has provided an excellent service to Zion in his accountabilities of Treasurer, and will be greatly missed in this capacity. We are pleased that Pat will continue to provide council representation.
