Council Meeting Highlights

April 2005

* Council elected Doug Fry as President, replacing John Shutika. Council is looking for a council representative to fill John's term

* Council met Jill Archer, our new church secretary.

* The congregation is reminded to view Zion's website at www.zionelca.org.

* Council approved the Stewardship Committee's proposal for congregation members to sponsor Sunday bulletins in memory or in honor of loved ones. Contributions for sponsorship will help defray the costs of the bulletins.

* Council approved the Capital Campaign Task Force's preliminary proposals for several projects to raise money for church building repairs/improvement. We look forward to their continued exploration of ideas and hearing more details on the project plans.
