Meeting Highlights

This month’s discussion topic was
treasurer replacement. It appears that we will not be successful in
obtaining a volunteer from the church congregation. As a result we will be
seeking book-keeping from an outside entity.

Pastor Gwenn Trout moved that the
Confirmands be approved as new members. Their names are Eric Fry, Daniel Placzek, Christina Schmeltz, Jennie Zeigler, Justine Zeigler

The Zion Seniors Committee
informed council they will be purchasing and providing training for heart
defibrillator for the church.

The Youth Ministry Committee was
approved to solicit the congregation members for additional funds for synod
and ELCA-sponsored youth events.

Approved the Zion Evangelical
Lutheran Church Building Use Policy

Secretary Jill Archer requested
that Council approve a temporary change in office hours. The new
hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30AM to 2:30PM. This
change is effective January 9, 2006.

Council reviewed an approved a
“bare bones” 2006 budget to attempt to present a balanced the budget to the
congregation on December 11, 2005.
