Council Meeting Highlights

October 2008

·        Approved Allen Manigault, Jr. to be received into membership

·         Approved Donna Jacobs for the Mutual Ministry Committee

·         Approved the acquisition of a credit card for Zion Lutheran church use

·         Approved the motion - Finance committee will write a usage policy for the credit, the card will not be used until the policy is approved by council

·         Approved youth ministry recommendation for leftovers from alive alive and winterfest from 2008 will be moved to the youth gathering for 2009.

·         Council approved submitting the budget as amended to the congregation.

·         December 7th will be the budget Annual Congregational meeting.

·         Approved the forgivness of 2008 summer camp balance due from parents of the summer camp children
